Needed a minor check of a fluid level in my car, and pulled into AAMCO to ask for a little help. One of the mechanics, Mark, was eating his lunch in the work bay, but he put his soup down and showed me how to do the check. What a wonderful experience! 100% recommend this shop for anyone in the area... and Mark is a breath of fresh air!! THANKS!!
These guys are great. They did my transmission a few years ago and did a wonderful job. I had a warrenty issue recently and I brought it in. Sanchez had it sorted out in no time. Chris and Mark are super pleasant to work with.
AS GOOD AS IT GETS! I do all my work on my van but when my transmission failed on me during a road trip from Alaska I luckily limped into Chris's AAMCO as my only option. These guys were respectful and honest right up front which is always my biggest worry with unknown mechanics. Couldn't be more thrilled with how they handled doing my rebuilt transmission and had me back on the road in a SUPER reasonable time frame. Thanks again!!!

This is long overdue, but back in February, my transmission went out so I couldn’t reverse on my 2014 Ford Focus Hatchback. Apparently my car has a weird transmission that’s not quite automatic and not quite manual. And for whatever reason, it wouldn’t accept a used transmission (Chris’ team tried two) and they ended up needing to order a remanufactured part to fix it, a part that would’ve cost an extra $800 from what we were quoted. So what’s normally a 48hr quick repair took a while longer (1.5-2 weeks) but because of the delays, he waived the added cost. My dad called several times about the delays, and his team was very professional. When picking up the car, I asked about the repairs and Chris took his time explaining to me the parts of the transmission that had broken using pictures and real parts. Afterwards, the transmission was smooth when shifting gears or going in reverse, and his repairs even fixed a problem where for several years, my car shuddered before it accelerated. Would recommend.
